The tulip situation on Park Avenue.

New York is well south of London, but as we know, spring flowers are already bustin’ out all over the British Isles while taking their own sweet time in Gotham. We can thank an unhelpful Gulf Stream for that.

Some helpful cocktail chat for tonight, besides the forecast for snow:

*New York is at the same latitude as Naples (the one in Italy, obviously).

*This year’s spring equinox will be the earliest since 1896.  If you really want to impress people, offer the reasons, which we provide here.

*Spring officially starts Sunday morning at 12:30 a.m.
