Do not try to rush the pleasures of the new extravaganza, Pergamon, at the Metropolitan Museum.
The capital of the Attalid dynasty, Pergamon was one of several ancient Hellenistic kingdoms. The remnants can be found in today’s Turkey. The show runs through July 17.
